Our engineers flew to Bangladesh in 2019 to assist the customer in installing the L-shaped gantry crane. This is one of our projects in Bangladesh. These gantry cranes will be used for material handling in a steel coil factory. When designing solutions for customers, we took into account the local production environment and chose an L-shaped gantry crane for the customer. The L-shaped gantry crane has small wheel pressure, which can reduce the requirements for the floor and foundation of the factory building and reduce construction costs.

L-shaped gantry crane is suitable for loading, unloading and transporting various materials in open spaces, warehouses, material yards, railway cargo stations, port terminals and other places, and is widely used in logistics and transportation operations. Various special spreaders can also be equipped for special operations. Compared with double main girder gantry crane, the overall stiffness is weaker. Therefore, this form can be used when the lifting weight Q≤50t and the span S≤35m. The L-shaped one is easy to make and install, has good stress conditions, and has a small mass, but the space for lifting goods through the legs is relatively small.
